Thank you for choosing Toughcoat. We are committed to delivering high-quality products that meet your expectations. To provide added peace of mind, all Toughcoat branded products are covered by a Limited Warranty, which includes two key protections:

  1. Manufacturer’s Warranty

We proudly offer a Manufacturer’s Warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 3 to 10 years, depending on the specific product. This warranty ensures that your Toughcoat product will perform as intended under normal use and in standard environmental conditions. Should your product fail due to manufacturing defects during this period, we will provide a replacement at no cost to you.

  1. Protective Layer Warranty

In addition to the Manufacturer’s Warranty, we provide a Protective Layer Warranty for a period of 3 years. This warranty ensures the integrity of the Toughcoat protective coating, including protection against fading or discoloration (colour fastness), as well as the performance of the product's insulating and protective properties. The warranty also covers the durability of insert components and plastic accessories, ensuring your product continues to deliver excellent performance over time.

Warranty Exclusions and Limitations:

While we stand behind the quality of our products, there are some exclusions to this warranty:

Normal Wear and Tear: Over time, products may show signs of age and usage, such as minor fading or surface scuffs, which are not covered by this warranty.
Negligence or Misuse: Damage caused by improper use, mishandling, or neglect, including but not limited to accidental impacts, exposure to harsh chemicals, or failure to follow care instructions, is not covered.
Installation Damage: This warranty does not cover any damage that may occur during the installation process, as this is typically the responsibility of the installer.
Third-Party Modifications: Any modifications or alterations made to the product by unauthorized parties will void this warranty.
How to File a Warranty Claim:

If you believe your product is covered under warranty and you would like to file a claim, please follow these steps:

Document the Issue: Take clear photographic evidence of the issue with the product.
Proof of Purchase: Provide a copy of your proof of purchase or receipt.
Contact the Place of Purchase: Submit the documentation to the place where the product was originally purchased or a registered distributor.
Upon receiving your claim, a member of our customer support team will assess the information provided and determine if the product qualifies for a replacement. In the case of a successful claim, we will provide a replacement product and may request that the original product be returned to us for further inspection.

Additional Terms:

Replacement Products: If your product is replaced under warranty, the replacement will be of equal value and may be a new or refurbished product, depending on availability.
Warranty Period: The warranty period is not extended if a product is replaced. The original warranty period will continue to apply from the date of the original purchase.
Limitations of Liability: Toughcoat and its authorized distributors are not responsible for any indirect or incidental damages, including but not limited to installation or removal costs, lost time, or inconvenience caused by product issues. We also do not cover costs related to any third-party involvement during the claim process.
